Bio:
Arvind Malhan is a Partner at New Silk Route, a private equity investing firm focusing on India. Prior to joining New Silk Route, Arvind was part of the founding team of Private Capital Asia, the Asian principal investing arm of JPMorgan. Arvind has worked in technology venture capital investing at New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and Morgan Stanley Venture Partners, and as a strategy consultant at McKinsey and Company in the US. Arvind holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organisation), and a Trustee of the One Billion Literates Foundation, which has adopted government run schools, and provides free English and Computing skills to over 2,500 children per year in Bangalore. He is a Fellow of the fourth class of Kamalnayan Bajaj Fellowship Fellows and the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
