Saad Mouasher is the chairman of Jordan's oldest bank, Jordan Ahli Bank. He has spent almost 17 years in banking, and has developed a deep and extensive experience in business transformation, change management, strategic planning, entrepreneurship, innovation, and governance reform. Together with the board of directors and the executive team, Saad is evolving Ahli Bank to become the region's first true "shared value" organization, with a clear vision of shared prosperity and financial inclusion. One of Saad's passions is to close the small-business credit gap in the MENA region; a silver bullet for exponential job creation in and stability in the MENA region. Saad's currently spearheading the development of the region's first Fintech Accelerator, and is also an active mentor and startup investor in startups around the world, especially ones with innovative business models and an ability to scale globally. Saad's also been nominated to join Endeavor Venturecorps, and is passionate about supporting the growth of high impact entrepreneurship everywhere. As a passionate agent of positive socioeconomic change, he is also a founder and active board member in many non-profit organizations, including: The Jordan Strategy Forum, The Queen Rania Foundation, and Naua (the region's first online, social impact and philanthropy platform). In addition, he tremendously enjoys being a member of Young President's Organization. Some of the best years of Saad's life were spent in the US, where he earned his MBA from Stanford University, and his BA in Economics from Northwestern University.
