I am a 2017 Harvard Advanced Leadership Initiative Fellow. A Deputy Chair - Public Investment Corporation. I serve on boards i.e. Discovery Bank, South 32 Limited, the Nelson Mandela Foundation, the International Women's Forum (South Africa)., the B20 Indonesia, Infrastructure and Finance Taskforce . A past Chair of Council - University of Pretoria. First woman chair - board of Deloitte Southern Africa. The first African black woman partner - Big Four accounting firms in S.A. I served the Financial Services Advisory Board and the Money Laundering Advisory board. The first woman president of the Association for the Advancement of Accountants in Southern Africa and the past Presidents of Business Unity South Africa ( BUSA) and remains only women to serve in the role. I was a board member of SAICA. Recognized with a number of awards including , "2004 Business Woman of the Year" by the BWA and Nedbank, Africa Economy Builder Award- Most Outstanding Leadership Women of the Year 2018, and a D COM (Honorius causa) University of Limpopo, to name a few. Co- founder of TEACH South Africa and a Fellow Africa Leadership Initiative SA and a member of the Council of Social Justice Champions, - Thuma Foundation.
