Julie is a Partner at McKinsey & Co. as a CEO-in-residence and Certified Technology Partner in the global Leap by McKinsey business building partnering with top firm client's CEO's and C-suite teams to create highly disruptive strategy and new businesses and then rapid fire greenfield stand them up in market (Technology, Commercial, Operations build and launch). She harnesses her highly successful career building 19 businesses, all highly disruptive B2B and B2C (4 unicorns) as a serial entrepreneur inside Fortune 50, private global, and independent start-up technology companies.
Julie also proudly leads diversity, equity, and inclusion globally for McKinsey's Digital practice for women and all of DEI globally for McKinsey's Leap business building practice. Key platforms she created and leads include McKinsey's Digital Lighthouse fireside chat series, The Connector, The Spark, and The Compass platforms. She recently co-authored an article published by DAVOS in 2022 on diverse founder funding disparity.

She encompasses 25+ years of deep technology experience as a global industry-disruptive business transformational builder, technology start-up and scale expert. She is the builder of 19 businesses, including 8 she led inside organizations such as Best Buy as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Growth. Eighty percent of her internal builds generated billion revenue in less than 5 years of inception and all continue to be foundational successes in the company today. She has also led 5 digital transformations for global companies and done the transformation to the female customer at Best Buy as well as 7 other companies globally.
She has been selected and presented the Top 100 People to Know, Top Woman in Tech, Top Innovator of the year award, top employee leadership awards, and also had the privilege of being presented Best Buy's Chairman's Award as the Top Leader in the organization personally by the company founder, former CEO, and Chairman of Best Buy, Dick Schulze.
She is also a global healthcare SaaS technology founder and CEO, courageous Fortune 50 Senior Executive, Digital Strategy Consultant, CPA, and Corporate Board Director having founded and scaled to 178 countries PreciouStatus, a SaaS mobile business in healthcare and consumer/education.
Four of her business build growth generatating multi-billion revenue outcomes and have been profiled globally by Harvard Business Review, IMD, Switzerland, Bloomberg, Business Week, Time, as well as a case study done by IMD in Switzerland & many others.
She is also known for reinventing organizations for diversity and true inclusive cultures while driving significant financial outcomes. Most notable is her creation of the WOLF innovation platform she created and scaled at Best Buy creating financial outcomes documented and profiled in Harvard Business Review, IMD Switzerland, and more than 25 books and periodicals. She then took this platform to impact Fortune 50 to private companies in 5 continents.
She is repeatedly tapped to architect and lead growth turnarounds, agile reinventions, and enterprise digital business transformations with a strong direct to consumer business model and cultural inclusion expansions for Fortune 500 B2C and B2B organizations and start-ups. She has led company strategy and transformations in technology, healthcare, retail, financial services, entertainment, fitness, consumer products, banking, services, and oil and gas. In each, she leverages technology for speed, scale, connection, and intelligence and am an expert in direct to consumer and artificial intelligence.
Her passion is to strategically build large growth businesses, and elevate and bring together people for good to create significant financial outcomes. She began at the Big 4 firm, Deloitte, creating her first software program in the M&A tax asset classification (at 22 years old) and scaling new businesses while working on the Office of the Chairman accounts

She serves as Vice Chairman of the Asbury Communities board also serving as the Strategy Committee leader and past service as the Governance and Compliance Committee leader, and Audit committee. She is board Trustee for the University of Minnesota. She is also co-chair of the UMN Carlson School Women's Global Network. She serves as a board member for Child Neurology Foundation as both a finance committee leader and development committee leader. She previously served for 6 years on the St. Thomas University School of Business Schulze School of Entrepreneurship board. She has served on for profit financial services board, Private Equity Boards.

She is a mother to an amazing son, an audiophile, nature-lover, nutrition and food connoisseur, & competitive athlete and former competitive ballroom dancer.
