Title and Organization:
As Global Partnerships Lead at Teach For All, Diane is currently working to build partnerships to support the growth of Teach For All’s programs in Africa and building partnerships globally to help students become global citizens. Diane also coaches Teach For All staff and partners in system leadership. Diane began her career in education as a first-grade bilingual teacher through the Teach For America program in Los Angeles in 1994. She taught for four years before assuming local and national leadership roles for the organization. During her almost ten year tenure with Teach For America, Diane raised over $10 million dollars, started new district and university partnerships, managed small and large teams and helped scale the organization’s impact. Diane has also held leadership roles with organizations like the KIPP Foundation and Global Nomads Group. Diane has spent over 20 years at the forefront of education change in the United States and globally. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Vassar College, a Master of Arts in multicultural education from California State University and a Doctor of Education Leadership (Ed.L.D) from Harvard University. Diane is in the second class of the Aspen-Pahara Fellowship and is a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
