Bio:
Eduardo Lovo is a neurosurgeon by profession, he is a father to three wonderful children and is happily married to Francisca. As a retired military captain and son of a combat pilot, he is struggling to become a pacifist by understanding his culture in one of the most violent countries in the world.
He has used knowledge in cognitive science in order to understand the source of violence in El Salvador and linked it to generalized corruption. He considers himself an activist for transparency in the State and in society in order to achieve social peace.
He also works in providing accessible neurosurgical and cancer care solutions for patients of El Salvador and the region. He recently created and NPO called "Gris Positivo" that is destined to create awareness in brain tumors in Central America.
Eduardo is a Fellow of the 10th class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
