Bio:
Diego de Sola is a father of three, and considers himself a Central American committed to making a positive impact on the region through his business and non-profit endeavors. He is currently CEO of the De Sola Group, a regional family enterprise with over 121 years working and serving in Central America. The Group manages investments in real estate, coffee milling and exporting, hotels, healthcare and remote business solutions. Before joining the family business, Diego worked at Citicorp Securities / Salomon Smith Barney NYC in investment banking, and at Taca International Airlines. He is co-Founder and President of Glasswing International, a regional non-profit that designs and implements cross-sector programs that promote youth and volunteering in 12 countries. In 2012 he was selected by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader. Diego attended the Hotchkiss School, received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. He currently resides in El Salvador with his wife, Alexandra, and his three boys, Diego Xavier, Herbert and Alejandro. Diego is a Fellow of the inaugural class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and serves as a moderator for the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
