Bio:
John Cannon Few is a Justice with the Supreme Court of South Carolina. He was Chief Judge of the South Carolina Court of Appeals from 2010 to February 2016 and a trial court judge from 2000 to 2010. Before that, he worked in private practice in Greenville, South Carolina, and was a judicial law clerk for a United States District Judge. John earned an A.B. from Duke University, and a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he served as an editor on the South Carolina Law Review. John currently teaches law at the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is a former member of the faculty of the National Judicial College, in Reno, NV and a former Distinguished Visiting Professor at the Charleston School of Law. John is a Fellow of the third class of the Liberty Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. He lives on the Chauga River in the mountains of South Carolina.
