Marcia Aaron will become a Portfolio Investment Partner at Charter Growth Fund in January 2022. Previously she was the CEO of KIPP SoCal Public Schools. She was the founding Board Chair and later the founding executive director of KIPP SoCal. She previously served as the Board Chair of KIPP Academy of Opportunity in South L.A. Prior to her career in education, Ms. Aaron spent 17-years as a Sell-Side Analyst at Pacific Growth Equities, Deutsche Bank, and Montgomery Securities. Marcia serves as a Trustee for the University of Oregon. Marcia also serves on the board of Ednovate, Inc. a Los Angeles-based charter management organization. She also is a member of Chief, a private network that supports women leaders. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Oregon. Marcia is a Fellow of the ninth class of the Pahara-Aspen Education Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
