Bio:
Anand Shah is the founder of Sarvajal, an award-winning impact venture in last-mile drinking water innovations. Sarvajal uses technology to enable a rural franchising business in India, including remotely-monitored filtration equipment and a solar-powered "Water ATM." Anand is also a co-founder of Indicorps. Indicorps is a not-for-profit that promotes public service and leadership by Indians around the world through grassroots development projects across India. Anand most recently worked with Audi AG to establish a division of Social Innovation, has served as the CEO of the Piramal Foundation, Anand has led strategy for Vedanta University, endowed by a $1 billion grant from the Indian philanthropist Anil Agarwal. He previously helped start the Media and Technology Charter High School in Boston. In addition, Anand is a member of the tt30, the Club of Rome's young think tank, serves on the board of KaosPilot International, a European school of creative business design and social innovation. He graduated from Harvard College. Anand is a Fellow of the inaugural class of the Kamalnayan Bajaj Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
