Based in Dubai, UAE, Ben Zhai is the Executive Director and CEO of NWTN Inc. (Nasdaq: NWTN), a Dubai-based new energy vehicle, technology equipment and crypto technology company. Prior to this, he has worked in Asia Pacific, Oceania, and in Americas in several leadership responsibilities including: Chairman of Hiland International Group; CEO of Shenzhen Talent Group; Chairman of Nio Global User Trust (a charity trust donated by William Li, the founder of global EV brand Nio); Global Managing Director of Global Offshore China Center at Russell Reynolds Associates in New York; Managing Partner of Egon Zehnder's Industrial Practice in Asia Pacific; Managing Director of A. T. Kearney Beijing, Shanghai, Sydney and Canberra office. He also worked with EDS Managing Consulting Services in Canberra, Australia. His "Aspen Project" is Yuting Action and Yuting Talent Trust, a not-for-profit organization aiming to provide positive and inspirational "experience and exposure" to underprivileged children for their balanced and healthy personal growth, which he founded in 2009. Ben graduated from Wuhan University of Science and Technology in Computer Science, and from Australia National University with an MBA, from Tsinghua University with an EMBA in Finance. He is also a GMP graduate of Harvard Business School, and is undertaking his DBA study with the University of Hong Kong and the Peking University.
