Bio:
Angela is founder and CEO of FirstGen Partners LLC, a firm that provides consulting and coaching to help those seeking to create good in the world. Ms. Cobb’s practice currently focuses on working with education organizations, but her 20+-year career spans the public and private sectors and myriad social issues.
Angela is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion, community development, strategic philanthropy and change management. She is an expert in launching and leading new philanthropic initiatives and social impact ventures, including Monster’s Diversity and Inclusion division, the Allstate Foundation’s Domestic Violence Program, and the New Options Project – a 3-year, $28M investment of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation focused on connecting opportunity youth to employment. Ms. Cobb also served as the first Chief Diversity Officer at Teach For America – the country’s national teaching corps.
Ms. Cobb spent the early part of her career at Deloitte where she managed diversity and community outreach programs and worked in change management consulting practice.
Angela received her MBA in 2000 from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She is a 1993 graduate of the University of Notre Dame where she received a B.B.A. in Accounting.
