Bio:
Hanno is a trustee of the FUEL Trust, where he draws on change management, learning & development principles and behavioural economics to influence the performance of systems within the South African Department of Basic Education, such as the National School Nutrition Programme (which feeds 9 million students each day). He also recently served as the COO of Videos for Change - an initiative of High Resolves. Previously, Hanno headed up Twenty30, a skills volunteering organisation with a focus on bridging cultural and social divides, especially for young professionals from blue-chip companies. He is passionate about challenging racism, inequality and patriarchy. Born and raised in the Eastern Cape, South Africa, Hanno studied Law and Organisational Psychology before embarking on an early career in education management and academic quality assurance. Hanno is a Fellow of the ninth class of the Africa Leadership Initiative-South Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
