Having been curating and managing a network of top business leaders, Spring is an effective and trusted connector and communicator across markets and cultures.
Currently serving as Managing Director at the Aspen Institute (2017- ), a prestigious international organization headquartered in Washington D.C., Spring oversees the Aspen China Fellowship and its China-related programs, engaging the foremost business leaders in executive seminars on corporate social responsibility, as well as its overall strategy and operation in Greater China region.
Spring has been also actively involved in advisor capacity on Artificial Intelligence and ESG fields with leading organizations. With Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), the world’s first AI University based in Abu Dhabi, Spring serves as Advisor to the President since 2021 on setting up its arm of international thinktank for world class AI experts, as well as its executive training programs on digital leadership for top business leaders and policy makers in the GCC region. Most recently (2023), Spring has also been serving as Advisor and Chief Representative of the MENA region for a pioneer fintech and carbon SaaS company Metaverse Green Exchange (MVGX) headquartered in Singapore, who provides carbon registry and carbon exchange infrastructure to governments and corporates in the Global South regions.
Prior to the Aspen Institute, Spring was with the World Economic Forum (2012-2016), heading the Young Global Leaders (YGL) Community in Asia Pacific region, a foremost network of business leaders across industries.
Earlier in her career, Spring also has extensive Key Account Management experience at Hewlett-Packard (HP) China (2005-2009). And worked on short term with Ogilvy Shanghai, and Asia Society in New York City.
Spring obtained a BA degree at Renmin University of China, and an MPA degree at Columbia University, and a World Economic Forum Global Leadership Fellow.
