Patrick Cheng is CEO and board director of NavInfo Co., Ltd, a China-based technology company leading the way to becoming the “Digital Brain of Intelligent Driving” with core businesses in HAD mapping, high accuracy positioning and automotive-grade semiconductors for ADAS and autonomous driving.
As one of the founders of NavInfo, Patrick has devoted himself to developing professional and high-quality geographical information products and services for the last 15 years.
After becoming the new CEO of NavInfo in March 2015, Patrick started leading NavInfo to become one of the most trustworthy autonomous driving solution providers in the China market and beyond.
Prior to joining NavInfo, Patrick worked for the East China Electronic Power Design Institute as an engineer. He earned his bachelor’s degree in photogrammetry and remote sensing, graduating summa cum laude from Wuhan University in China.
Patrick is a fellow of the fourth class of the China Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
