Monica Lee is the Chairman of Superunion Asia, a leading global brand agency integrated by Brand Union, The Partners, Lambie-Nairn, Addison Group and VBAT since 23 Jan 2018. Monica joined Brand Union in Shanghai as strategy lead in 2004 before she took over to run the company’s China operation in 2009. Under her leadership, Brand Union Greater China Region became the third largest business of its global network. She sits on the worldwide Brand Union board as the first Chinese/Asian representative in the company. Prior to Brand Union, Monica was with Ogilvy Public Relations where she started her career as a communication professional in Corporate/Finance and Technology PR in 1997. With Ogilvy PR, Monica discovered her passion for helping business leaders articulate brand strategy and achieve brand-led business success. She relocated to Ogilvy PR Shanghai in 2002 to set up their corporate communication practice. Monica is a guest mentor of “Microsoft Cloud Computing program” since 2010, to advise participating start-up companies on branding and brand strategy. She also speaks regularly in executive education programs of the Hong Kong University Institute for China Business on topics of branding. Monica is a Fellow of the fourth class of the China Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
