Kate Yingchun Kui is the vice president of JD.com, the largest business to customer e-commerce platform in China. Kate is responsible for the company's market place business overseeing more than 600 staff. Additionally, she leads the company's strategic investments function. Before joining JD.com, she was head of China Media and Internet Investment Banking for Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong. Kate started her career with China Central Television as the co-host of Biz China, a current affairs and business program. A native of Shanghai, Kate received a bachelor in English literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University and a master in international political economy from the University of Birmingham. Kate is a Fellow of the second class of the China Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
