Bio:
Bing Song is chief of staff for Goldman Sachs Asia Pacific and the general manager of Goldman Sachs Gao Hua Securities. Earlier in her career at Goldman Sachs, she served as co-chief operating officer for Gao Hua Securities, a Goldman Sachs group company engaged in securities and asset management businesses in China as well as general counsel for Goldman Sachs China. Before she joined Goldman Sachs in 2005, Bing worked as capital markets and M&A lawyer for Deutsche Bank and two U.S. law firms. Earlier in her career, Bing worked on several public interest law projects as consultant for the Ford Foundation. She edited two books in Chinese on comparative judicial systems and processes and led two judges training programs in China. Bing has been the senior spokesperson and advocate for Goldman Sachs' CSR initiatives in China. A PRC national, Bing attended Beijing University, Oxford University and the law school of New York University.
