Bio:
Sherry Lin has over 20 years of experience managing alternative assets for large institutional family offices. She has pioneered new themes and develops investment programs around these themes. She has seeded new managers across venture, private equity, hedge funds and real estate and served on Advisory boards of leading institutions. She has led and co-invested in leading private companies, and has led secondary transactions both on the buy side and sell side.
Sherry has built offices in foreign and domestic locations and has built a family office from ground up. She is currently a Founding Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Argentum Peak, a multibillion dollar family office based in Greenwich CT where she built the front and back office and established the initial investment framework. She previously co-led Private Investments and headed Global Venture and Asia at Michael Bloomberg’s family office (Willett Advisors). Prior to that, she established the Asia offices and led the Global Illiquid portfolio for Mousse Partners, a large institutional family office for a leading luxury goods brand.
Sherry lives in Woodside CA with her husband and three children.
Sherry holds a B.A. from Columbia University and a JD/MBA from Northwestern Law/ Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Sherry is a board member of the Woodside School Foundation where she chairs the Investment Committee. Sherry is a Fellow of the third class of the China Fellowship Program.
