Bio:
William (Bill) G. Medich, is area executive and senior vice president of South State Bank, managing the commercial lending needs of the Charleston area and growing SCBT's Charleston presence. He has been in commercial banking in South Carolina since 1986. Bill is vice president of the board of directors of Spoleto Festival USA and a graduate of Leadership South Carolina. He is former president of the board of directors of The Gibbes Museum of Art, and former president of the board of the College of Charleston Foundation. Bill earned a BS degree in economics/finance from the University of South Carolina and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. He is a Fellow of the second class of the Liberty Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
