Bio:
Benjamin (Ben) T. Zeigler is a shareholder with Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A., and he was responsible for opening their Florence office. He practices in the area of tax-exempt finance and economic incentive transactions. Ben serves on the South Carolina Supreme Court Commission on Lawyer Conduct, the South Carolina Eminent Domain Study Committee, the Study and Advisory Committee for the South Carolina Business Corporations Act, and on the boards of the Black Creek Land Trust, Friends of the Florence Stockade, the Florence Center for the Arts, the Francis Marion University Foundation, Florence County Progress, and is Chairman of the Board of the Pee Dee Land Trust. He is also chairman of the Francis Marion Trail Commission, the chairman of the Florence County Tourism Study Committee, and secretary of the St. David's Society of South Carolina. He is formerly a member of the executive council of the Carolinian Library of the University of South Carolina and the Vestry of St. John's Episcopal Church. Ben holds a BA from The University of the South, a masters in philosophy from Oxford University, and a JD from Harvard University. He is a Fellow of the second class of the Liberty Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
