Bio:
Ivy Li is a venture investor in early stage technology companies. She is a Founding General Partner at Seven Seas Partners. Her areas of interest include frontier technologies AI/data analytics, VR/AR, Robotics, internet of things, cloud computing, and open source hardware. Ivy was Managing Director at Greylock Partners focused on investing in early stage internet companies in China. Ivy also advised Linkedin on its China entry strategy. She helped the company negotiate partnership with local partners, and recruited its first China CEO. Prior to Greylock, Ivy was Chief Executive of MIH's China operation and was responsible for the firm's overall strategy, investments and operations in China. MIH (Myriad International Holdings) is a multinational media company with businesses in the Internet, pay TV, technology and print media industries. Previously, Ivy was a director in the corporate development group at Microsoft. During her six years with the company, Ivy oversaw Microsoft's investment program in China. She also led various M&A transactions for online services, Xbox, Office, security, server and tools teams. Earlier in her career, Ivy worked as an investment banker with JP Morgan Chase in its M&A and technology, media and telecommunications departments. Ivy holds a BS from Tsinghua University, a PhD from Columbia University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Ivy is a Fellow of the inaugural class of the China Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
