Margaret Lapiz, MBA, MPH, is the CEO and co-founder of Under One Roof, a social impact organization focused on advancing a collaborative and future-oriented approach to economic opportunity, health and wellbeing in farmworker and rural communities. She has over 25 years of experience as a corporate executive and board member overseeing operations, corporate strategy, capital/facilities planning, leadership development, DEI and succession planning efforts. A former Kaiser Permanente EVP, she led organizational turnaround, created new business models and built health care delivery approaches geared towards market expansion and growth. In 2018, UC Berkeley’s School of Public Health named her one of its 75 Most Influential Alumni. Margaret is a trustee of the UC Davis Foundation and member of the Asian Pacific Fund’s board of directors. She is also on the advisory boards of Health Career Connection and Prep Medico, one of the nation’s largest Latinx physician pipeline programs, which she co-founded in 2015. Margaret is a Fellow of the second class of the Health Innovators Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
