Bio:
Sudha Iyer – Founding Director, Quadratic Insights Pvt. Ltd. Sudha has two MS degrees in Molecular Biology and Genetics (University of Notre Dame and The Johns Hopkins University) and a PhD in Public Health (Health Education – Diabetes Education and Control among patients in India) . After spending 13 years in the US studying and working in institutions like The Johns Hopkins University and Sinai Hospital (where she established a molecular cytogenetics department), she returned to India to be a serial entrepreneur for the last 20 years. She was a pioneer in blended e-learning, training and skilling in India. Sudha’s latest venture is Quadratyx, a Big Data Analytics and AI company, which she co-founded in 2014. With offices in India and S. America, the company has won various awards in the last few years, and is recognized as a thought leader in this field. (Silicon Review - Certificate of Excellence Award 2015, 10 Fastest Growing Bigdata Companies; CIO Review Magazine - 25 Most Promising BIGDATA Companies 2015 India; Silicon India Magazine - Company of The Year 2016, Artificial Intelligence and The CEO Magazine - Best places to work for, 2018) As a member for the Governing Council of Young Indians, (Yi, CII), Sudha served as the National Chair for Youth Affairs for two and a half years. She conceptualized and rolled out the Yi Bridge program, working with students in schools and colleges in the country. She was also the Yi National Chair for IT, Health and Rural Initiatives in her tenure at Yi. As Health Chair, she conducted a national program of deworming among school children in India. As head of Rural Initiatives, she rolled out a career counselling program for rural students nationally. She is the Founding Secretary and the incoming National President of Yi Next, The Alumni Association of Yi. She is a Fellow of the Inaugural Class of Aspen India's Leadership Initiative and a trained moderator for Ananta Aspen. She is at present a co-moderator for the prestigious ASEAN India Leadership Fellowship. Sudha has trained several leaders from across the world in values-based leadership and globalization. Her Aspen project to feed destitute old people every day has been going on for over 12 years since Nov 2006. Sudha has been practicing yoga and meditation for over 15 years. She is interested in alternate forms of health care and is a certified acupressure therapist. She is fluent in seven languages and is actively learning Spanish now!
