Adarsh founded LEC, a fund that seeks to promote new models of aggregating small farmers and connecting them to mainstream markets. LEC invests equity in producer?owned structures and offers business advice and assistance to help them become successful enterprises and scale up operations. Adarsh also helped found the All India Artisans and Craftworkers Association (AIACA) to assist crafts producers to access mainstream markets. Prior to AIACA, Adarsh has worked both at the Ford Foundation, where he worked on strengthening micro-credit institutions that serve the poor, and at the World Bank in Washington, D.C, where he worked on evaluating client satisfaction of welfare services in the Philippines. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Georgetown University and a Masters Degree in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Adarsh has been awarded the Echoing Green and Ashoka fellowships for social entrepreneurship. He is a Fellow of Second Wave Class of Aspen India's Leadership Initiative.
