Bio:
Chinezi Chijoke is a co-founder and chief executive officer of Nova-Pioneer Education Group, a network of accessible, 21st century private schools across Africa with a mission to develop generations of innovators and leaders who will shape the African Century. Today, Nova-Pioneer operates four schools in South Africa and Kenya with the goal of operating 100 great schools over the next decade. Chinezi started his career as a secondary school mathematics teacher, and he was nominated by his students to Who's Who of American Teachers. Prior to founding Nova-Pioneer, Chinezi led McKinsey & Company's African Education Practice and co-authored McKinsey’s 2010 global education report, “How the World’s Best School Systems Keep Getting Better.” He currently serves on the Global Advisory Council of Teach For All. A Nigerian, Chinezi currently lives in South Africa. Chinezi holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Harvard University and a Master of Business Administration and Master of Education from Stanford University. Chinezi is a Fellow of the tenth class of the Africa Leadership Initiative – South Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
