Bio:
Patricia Rwakiseeta Muhebwa is the co-founder and a technical director of Metier Construction & Metier Homes Ltd where she has played a key role in leading her organization's teams of over 150 local artisans and technicians to deliver creative projects with integrity in all aspects, while setting exceptional standards for a small sized enterprise in the construction industry in Uganda. Metier Homes, a sister company has also positioned itself in the property development industry in Uganda as a quality developer. She previously worked as a project manager for the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development in diverse projects including national risk management and contingency planning, and supervision of various infrastructure projects for the Uganda Bureau of Statistics and the Integrated Financial Management System. She provided leadership as a project manager on construction of Quality Chemicals Industries Pharmaceutical Plant. Patricia has a keen interest in developing and mentoring the youth. She co-founded Dolphins Swim Club in 2007with parents to nurture local swimming. She has a passion for the built environment and has plans to expand her businesses in addition, engaging in voluntary projects addressing architecture and public health in the community. Patricia got her formal engineering training in Makerere University, and University of Kansas, and over the years benefited from mentoring by various employers and workmates who have sustained relationships as clients and business partners on the completion of assignments. She is a fellow of the fourth class of the Africa Leadership Initiative-East Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
