Bio:
Bayo Oyewole is Vice President, Conduct Risk & Chief Ethics Officer for USAA and based in Dallas, Texas. He has oversight for the Ethics Office, and leads the Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABAC), Licensing, Sales Practices, and Sensitive Positions functions. Previously, he was the Senior Director & Chief of Staff, Global Compliance for the Danaher Corporation based in Washington, DC where he had oversight for the Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABAC) program as well as the running of the Enterprise Compliance Program Management Office (PMO).
Prior to joining Danaher, Bayo was managing director of ThinkSmart Global, a strategy and operations management consultancy based in Lagos, Nigeria. He also served stints as the COO for Timbuktu Media in Lagos, Nigeria as well as senior level positions with Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, PepsiCo and EY. He has also worked as a consultant with the UNDP and UNECA and as the Acting ICT Officer for the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA) in Dakar, Senegal.
Bayo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management & Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria and an MBA from Clark Atlanta University. He holds various certifications in project management and compliance (PMP, CCEP, CCEP-I, CSM) and graduate certifications in Corporate Governance and Ethics from the Harvard Business School and Yale University School of Management. He is a Fellow of the Africa Leadership Initiative-West Africa (ALIWA), part of the Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN)
