Title and Organization:
Reza Che Daniels is Associate Professor in the School of Economics, University of Cape Town. He is also a member of the Institute of Directors of South Africa, and has held both executive and non-executive positions in companies in the non-profit, philanthropy, manufacturing and consulting sectors. His research interests span selected topics in development and environmental economics, and he has consulted in both the public and private sectors, as well as to the Asian Development Bank and World Bank. He is also one of the Principal Investigators of the National Income Dynamics Study - Coronavirus Rapid Mobile Survey (NIDS-CRAM), a longitudinal survey designed to track the socioeconomic impacts of Covid-19 on South Africa.
