Title and Organization:
Kuben Naidoo was appointed deputy governor of the South African Reserve Bank in March of 2015. He was fomerly secretariat at the National Planning Commission. He helped set up the National Planning Commission secretariat, contributing to the development of the country's first national development plan. Kuben began his career at the South African Treasury in 1998, headed the Budget Office for six years, and did a two year stint at the United Kingdom Treasury. He has a B. Sc in Computer Science and a Post Graduate Diploma from Wits and an MBA from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. Kuben is a Fellow of the eighth class of the Africa Leadership Initiative-South Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
