Bio:
Raymond Ndlovu is the executive chairman of Serendipity Ventures, an investment company established in 2014 to find and scale investment opportunities in the pan-African financial, consulting services and ICT sectors in partnership with management teams. Prior to taking up his role at Serendipity Ventures in April 2023, Raymond was Group CEO of Community Investment Ventures (CIVH), a specialist investment holding company with a focus on wholesale open access connectivity infrastructure and digital technology interests. Raymond has garnered extensive corporate and entrepreneurial experience in various fields in the financial services industry, including investment banking, asset management and stockbroking, since 1998. He has worked for Standard Chartered Merchant Bank, Noah Capital Markets, Invenfin and Remgro Limited. In addition, Ndlovu is a co-founder and owner of Black Elephant Vintners, an artisanal premium wine production and marketing business, based in the Western Cape. He also serves on the boards of several community service organisations, including Cape Wine Auction Trust Franschhoek Wine Valley Tourism. He serves as an independent non-executive director of OUTsurance Group and RMI Investment Managers Group. He holds a B. Business Studies (Honours) from University of Zimbabwe.
