Franklyn Nlerum is vice president and legal counsel at African Capital Alliance, a private equity firm. In addition to this, Franklyn is a resource person for the Financial Institutions Training Centre and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He is a lawyer, with interest in corporate law, law and finance, law and technology and compliance and risk management. Franklyn trained at the University of Nigeria and obtained graduate degrees in law from Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada and Columbia University, New York, NY, USA. He was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1989. He is a Fellow of the second class of the African Leadership Initiative-West Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
