Bio:
David Storey is a partner in EY Advisory where he leads the People and Organisational Change component for Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA). In addition to this role, his professional focus includes organisational strategy and change management, leadership development and culture alignment, transformation and labour relations, administrative law and dispute resolution. David joined EY in October 2012 via its acquisition of The Resolve Group, a boutique consulting house that David co-founded and ran as Chief Executive Officer. Over its 14 year life Resolve assisted more than 750 organisations to improve performance, realise the potential of their people and navigate change. In addition to consulting, David has extensive peace-keeping and peace-building experience and played leadership roles in a number of transitional structures during the advent of democracy in South Africa including the Wits-Vaal Regional Peace Secretariat of the National Peace Accord and Independent Election Commission'94. David is a practiced mediator (accredited in the US, UK and SA), accomplished trainer and has published and presented papers in the fields of policing, crowd management and dispute resolution. David has commerce and law degrees from the University of Witwatersrand, where he was an Abe Bailey Fellow and Vice President of the SRC, and a Masters in law from Harvard Law School where he was a Fulbright Scholar. David is husband to Alexandra and father to Adrienne and Scott. He is a Fellow of the seventh class of the Africa Leadership Initiative-South Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
