Bio:
Tsakani Ratsela is the deputy auditor-general of South Africa and CEO of the Office of the Auditor-General of South Africa. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and businesswoman, with experience in a number of areas, including retail, auditing, private equity, development finance, management consulting, skills development, and Black Economic Empowerment. She is a member of the Presidential BBBEE Advisory Council, where she chairs one of the Council's sub-committees and currently serves as the Chairperson of the Charter Council for the BBBEE Charter for the CA Profession. Tsakani is the former Chairperson of the Board of FASSET, the SETA responsible for skills development in the Accountancy Profession, amongst others. She is the Past National President of ABASA ("Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants in Southern Africa"). Tsakani is a Fellow of the seventh class of the Africa Leadership Initiative-South Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
