Hildegard Aloyce Mziray (nee Mbando) is managing director and school manager of Valentine Elite Nursery and Primary Schools, an English private school. Previously, she worked at Total Tanzania Ltd for 25 years as chief accountant and finance manager, as well as assuming other responsibilities in human resources, purchasing, administration, and legal matters. Hilda is a member of the FCPA with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) as well as the Tanzania Association of Accountants (TAA). In her community, she is a committee member and vice president of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants-Tanzania Chapter; executive committee member and trustee of the Association of Tanzania Employers; one of the five directors of the Tanzania Women Unit Trust; treasurer of the Lay Community of the Archdiocese of Dar-es-Salaam; and chair of the Christian community of Ada Estate. Formerly, she was a membership committee member of NBAA; education and training committee member of TAA; moderator and marker of NBAA exams; and treasurer of St. Peter's Church Oyster Bay. Hilda holds a BA in accountancy from the University of Dar-Es-Salaam (1976) and a professional degree with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She is married with a daughter. She is a Fellow of the inaugural class of the Africa Leadership Initiative-East Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
