Bio:
Nyiringango Patrick Kabagema is managing director of Rock Global Consulting, an IT startup. Prior to starting RGC, Patrick held a position of technology lead in the Global High Availability Operations of Air Products and Chemicals, where he led numerous projects and managed several processes. He was able to reduce cost, increase productivity, and improve quality of life through process engineering, task and process transfer, and automation. He worked on various projects and program including in-sourcing of outsourced services and building of a level 9 unmanned data center. His future plan includes starting new ventures both in Rwanda and the USA as well as earning a masters degree in international finance and economics. Patrick's volunteer work includes a mentoring program, supervising a free tax center for low income and elderly, and sponsoring Friends of Rwanda (non profit organization). Patrick holds a dual degree in computer science and international studies from Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania, USA. He is a Fellow of the second class of the Africa Leadership Initiative-East Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
