Bio:
Earl Sampson works at Vivo Energy, where he heads the company in mining business development. Previously, he led TechnoServe South Africa. Technoserve works with entrepreneurial men and women in poor areas of the developing world to build businesses that create income, opportunity, and economic growth for their families, their communities, and their countries. Before that, he worked in Central America for two years and for Shell Oil locally and internationally. He was born in Athlone in the Western Cape and is committed to supporting change in a new South Africa. He is a Fellow of the third class of the Africa Leadership Initiative-South Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
