Muna Easa Al Gurg is the director of retail for the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, a diversified conglomerate formed in 1960. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Charity Foundation which was established in 2010. Muna is also the chairperson to the Young Arab Leaders, where she was elected to be on its board in 2008, and works on two main initiatives: education and entrepreneurship. In 2010, Muna was awarded the Emirates Women's Award for Outstanding Achievers in the business category. Prior to joining the Al Gurg Group, Muna worked for Saatchi & Saatchi. She holds an MBA from London Business School in the UK and is a frequent opinion columnist for the UAE's daily English newspaper Gulf News. She is a Fellow of the second class of the Middle East Leadership Initiative of The Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
