Elie Wurtman is the founder of PICO, which includes a number of entities in Jerusalem that bring together People, Ideas, Community and Opportunity around activities that share the core values of innovation, excellence, partnership, social awareness and out-of-the-box thinking. PICO Venture Partners is an execution driven venture capital fund that invests in freethinking entrepreneurs and builds outstanding companies. PICO Kids is an informal, experiential, education framework for STEM learning among children in 4th-9th grades, that is transforming education in Jerusalem. PICO Spaces is a co-working space for entrepreneurs to enjoy a, creative, affordable and inspiring environment that fosters new ideas and collaboration. Elie was previously a general partner at Benchmark Capital and played an active role in different companies such as Vroom.com, NJOY, IronSource and Delta Three. He is an owner of the award-winning Bat Shlomo Vineyards in Northern Israel and advises multiple non-profits in the area of entrepreneurship and education. He is a Fellow of the third class of the Middle East Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
