Susan
Last Name:
Asiyanbi
Title and Organization:
Chief Operating Officer, Teach For America
Bio:
Susan Asiyanbi is the advisor CEOs call when the stakes are high, the dynamics are complex, and the path forward isn’t obvious. A strategist, pattern recognizer, and trusted executive advisor, Susan helps senior leaders navigate the technical and adaptive challenges of organizational change. She brings a rare ability to bridge strategy and culture—ensuring leadership teams don’t just move fast but move together. Before founding The Olori Network®, Susan served as Chief Operating Officer and other C-suite roles at Teach For America, where she led operational strategy across 51 regions and stewarded the development of nearly 2,000 staff. Her time at TFA sharpened her expertise in scaling leadership, driving results, and designing systems that work in high-stakes, high-complexity environments. Earlier in her career, Susan held roles at Boston Consulting Group and Sears Holding Corporation, where she honed her skills in strategic planning. Today, as CEO of The Olori Network®, she leads a team of experts who partner with executive leaders to uncover the root causes of persistent challenges, shift entrenched patterns, and align their teams to move with clarity and cohesion. Susan holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, an M.A. in Education Administration and Supervision from St. Peter’s University, and a B.A. from Williams College. She is a proud member of YPO, CHIEF, the Aspen Global Leadership Network, the Economic Club of Chicago, and the Commercial Club of Chicago. Her leadership and civic engagement extend to the boards of the Chicago Children’s Museum and other organizations across business, education, and social impact.
