Bio:
Ed Kirby serves on the Walton Family Foundation's education reform team, whose mission is to empower American parents to choose great schools for their children. Previously he served on the public sector team that launched the Massachusetts charter school initiative. Before his work in Massachusetts, Ed worked as a writer and public policy analyst documenting attempted reforms of American schooling. Ed began his career as a high school English teacher. He is a fellow of the Aspen Pahara Education Fellowship's eighth class and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
