Councilwoman Dalhi N. Myers is an attorney with Turner Padget Graham & Laney in Columbia, SC.
Myers’ practice focuses on representing businesses in all phases of corporate life, from start-up to winding down, and the developmental stages in between. She has international transactional experience, having been the most senior “in-house” attorney at MCI WorldCom Asia Pacific, where she managed the regulatory aspects of multi-million dollar transactions. Before joining Turner Padget, Myers, who started her legal career at Swidler & Berlin (now Bingham), in Washington, DC, was a shareholder at Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, PA, and Myers, LLC. Immediately following law school, she served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable Annice M. Wagner, Chief Judge of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
"Councilwoman Dalhi Myers", as she is known in Richland County, South Carolina's Capital County (with an annual budget of more than $1 billion), is in her second term as District 10's Representative on the eleven member council. Myers is extremely dedicated to public service and also represents her constituents and colleagues as a liaison to numerous boards and commissions, among them, the Richland County Public Library Board, the Richland County Recreation Commission, the Central Midlands Council of Governments, EdVenture Children’s Museum, and Midlands Technical College.
A member of the South Carolina and Maryland Bars, she is an Honor Graduate of Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C., and Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. In her free time, she enjoys scuba diving.
She is a Fellow of the inaugural class of the Liberty Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
