Mark B. Kent is chairman, president, and CEO of Kent Worldwide, a textile manufacturing company in Greenville. A fifth generation owner, he started with the company in 1986 and has been chairman and CEO since 1993. He is also a real estate developer who specializes in remodeling historic and commercial structures in Greenville through Kent Properties, LLC. Mark has served as board chair of the American Textile Export Company; board member of the American Textile Manufacturers' Institute; chair of the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance; and on the board of the American Red Cross. He has also been a member of both the Greenville Chamber of Commerce and Historic Greenville Foundation Boards. Mark studied with Clemson University's School of Textiles before earning a BA from Wake Forest University. He is a Fellow of the inaugural class of the Liberty Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
