Bio:
Jimmy Addison is senior vice president and chief financial officer of SCANA Corporation in Columbia, the largest NYSE company home-based in South Carolina. Before joining SCANA, Jimmy worked for the accounting firms of Deloitte & Touche and Hughes, Boan & Addison. He is also a member of the board of South Carolina Bank and Trust. Jimmy has a long history of supporting his community in substantive ways. He chaired SCANA's United Way and American Heart Association campaigns, and served in a fundraising capacity for Christus Victor Lutheran Church and the Saluda Shoals Foundation, and as treasurer for Southeastern Electrical Exchange. Jimmy has served on numerous Boards, including the Oliver Gospel Mission (vice-chair); EdVenture Children's Museum; Sexual Trauma Services and the USC Moore School of Business, which honored him as a 2001 Distinguished Young Alumnus. He has also had a long-term commitment to various community youth organizations as a Sunday School teacher, coach of youth sports, and host for the Irish Children's Summer Program. Addison holds a BS in accounting and a master of accountancy from the University of South Carolina. He is a Fellow of the inaugural class of the Liberty Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
