Deepal Eliatamby is president of Alliance Consulting Engineers, Inc., a civil engineering firm in Columbia. He received his bachelors and masters degrees in civil engineering from the University of South Carolina. Deepal is a recipient of the prestigious Edmund Friedman Young Civil Engineer of the Year National Award from the American Society of Engineers, the Young Engineer of the Year award from the SC Society of Professional Engineers, and the Outstanding Young Alumnus Award from the University of South Carolina's College of Engineering. He is active on numerous civic boards. He is a Fellow of the third class of the Liberty Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
