Bio:
D. Garrison (Gary) Hill is a resident Circuit Judge for the Thirteenth Circuit, which covers Greenville and Pickens counties. Before becoming a judge, Gary practiced law, first with Hill, Wyatt & Bannister, and later with Hill & Hill LLC. Prior to practicing, he was a law clerk to Judge Billy Wilkins, of the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Gary served in the House of Delegates of the South Carolina Bar, and has served on the boards of the Greenville Literacy Association and the Greenville Mental Health Association. Gary received his JD from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was a member of the law review, and his bachelor of arts degree from Wofford College. He is a Fellow of the third class of the Liberty Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
