Bio:
Steven (Steve) R. Shrum is owner of Holly Tree Animal Hospital in Simpsonville, SC. He began his veterinary career in Kitty Hawk, NC, and then was in Summerfield, Florida, before establishing his private practice. Steve sits on the advisory boards of Concerned Citizens for Animals, TriCounty Technical College Veterinary Technology Program, and Greenville Technical College Veterinary Assistant Program. He is a member and past president of both the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Society, and of the South Carolina Association of Veterinarians. Steve received his BS in biochemistry from North Carolina State University, and his DVM from the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a Fellow of the fourth class of the Liberty Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
