Bruce Bannister is managing partner of Bannister and Wyatt, LLC and is a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives. He serves on the Judiciary Committee and is Chairman of the Constitutional Laws Subcommittee. He also is the assistant majority leader of the South Carolina House Republican Caucus and Chairman of the South Carolina Bar Lawyer Legislator Task Force. Bannister was awarded the Children's Hospital Legislative Advocacy Award and previously served as law clerk to the Honorable Larry R. Patterson, Circuit Court Judge. Bannister serves on the board of the Children's Museum of the Upstate and the board of the St. Andrew's Society of Greenville. He is a graduate of Leadership Greenville and has served on the Peace Center Board and as an adjunct professor at Greenville Technical College. Bannister earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Davidson College.
