Leah Moody is the sole practitioner with the Law Office of Leah B. Moody, LLC. Prior to founding her firm, she practiced with Rinehart, Matthews, Schiller, Shaw and Reeves, LLC. She also was the deputy legal counsel for the Office of the Governor; staff counsel for South Carolina State Senate - Senate Judiciary Committee; and assistant solicitor for Richland County Solicitor's Office. Moody is on the Board of Trustees for the University of South Carolina where she serves as the chair for the Student-Trustee Liaison Committee, and she serves on the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education for the South Carolina research universities. She is a member of the York County Bar Association, Central City Optimist Club, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and has served as President of the Young Lawyers Division of the South Carolina Bar. Moody earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Hampton University.
