Bio:
William (Bill) Logan, Jr. M.D., is Medical Director for Centene in South Carolina. He also is associate professor of clinical internal medicine and geriatrics at the USC School of Medicine and adjunct associate professor of Public Health Sciences, Clemson University. He was formerly medical director for clinical integration for geriatrics at Palmetto Health, division head of geriatrics for Greenville Health System and director of the Center for Success in Aging. Functional aging is his passion. He is an associate coordinating pastor for Victory Harvest Church Ministries and serves on the board for Mongolia Asia Reach. He also has served as the founder and director of Rivers Foundation, Inc. Bill earned his MD from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine; his masters of health sciences in clinical research, Duke University; and his bachelor of arts in biology with honors from the University of North Carolina. He completed an internal medicine residency at University of North Carolina Hospitals and a geriatrics fellowship at Duke VA Medical Center and Center for the Study of Aging. Bill lives in Greer. He is a Fellow of the eighth class of the Liberty Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
